Playing another high school sport: College coaches like this! In D3 you can actually typically play more than one sport, and coaches know this makes you a better athlete overall.
Academics: Scholarship is just as important as your athleticism. If you don’t make good grades, you won’t be eligible to play. When you are in the process of recruitment, coaches will ask you about your academic performance.
Other Activities: Just like your general college application, college coaches will want to see that you are a well rounded student-athlete. This means it’s a great idea to continue to be involved in other areas of interest such as student government, clubs, community service, and personal hobbies and interests.
